Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Shayda, pronounced “Shay-Dah”. My name has Persian roots, meaning “a deep love that can only be expressed through actions rather than words.” I aspire to reflect the meaning of my name into my life each day. I believe in the power of good energy, spreading love wherever I go & helping others realize how life is, truly, what you make it.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Woman's Psychoherapist and a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist at Heal ATL Counseling and Wellness, located in Atlanta, Georgia. I earned my dual Master’s of Science Degree specializing in Marriage, Couples & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling at Barry University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia. Currently I am working toward my Ph.D in Mind Body Medicine with a specialization in Integrative Mental Health at Saybrook University.
I am dedicated to helping woman discover or rediscover the innate strengths that will allow them to align their beliefs, emotions, and values for a more fulfilling life. I have extentisive clinical training and experience working with woman of all ages, creative entrepreneurs, young professionals and students. I provide my clients with space to express, support, confidentiality and compassionate understanding. Each of us has a unique journey and it is my privilege to offer a perspective that will inspire and encourage hope as you continue to walk through life.
